The Williamson Group is currently searching for a Bilingual Employee Benefits Consultant for our Group Life and Health Business Unit. This position will work within a team environment, providing superior consulting and client service to a dedicated client block. You will be the primary point of contact between the clients and insurance carriers.
Key Attributes of the successful candidate:
- Strong, demonstrable customer service skills and focus
- Develop and enhance positive client relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
- 5+ years of experience in group insurance
- A sound understanding of group insurance is critical, including:
- Renewals pricing and presentation
- Amendment pricing
- Benefit policy wording and interpretation
- An individual who can be both a self-starter, and work well within a team dynamic
- A strong understanding of collective agreements, employment law and human resources functions as they apply to employee benefits
- Ability to multi-task effectively, including managing time sensitive deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
