BILINGUAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, PENSION

The Williamson Group is currently searching for an Account Manager to join our Pension team. The successful candidate will manage a select block of Defined Contribution (primarily) and Defined Benefit Pension clients. You will also be preparing and delivering education to plan members in English and/or French in a group setting and individually through our Investment Coaching program.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Build professional, lasting relationships with clients so that they see us as their trusted advisor
  • Partner with both clients and suppliers to ensure solutions are identified and delivered in a cost effective way
  • Generate additional client referral business to other members of the TWG Financial Services team i.e. Individual Financial Planners and Insurance Specialists
  • When necessary design and implement new pension opportunities

Personal Attributes:

  • French speaking, fluently bilingual
  • Understand the client, the clients’ needs and their industry
  • Develop multi level contacts with clients
  • Understand and mange the expectation of both the client and co-workers at TWG
  • Share client news/information with other TWG staff
  • Ensure timely response to requests both internally and externally
  • Be familiar with other departments/roles at TWG and promote broader relationships to encourage additional referral business within TWG
  • Professional discretion and awareness of Privacy Policies

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of related experience in the Pension Industry
  • Maintain currency of knowledge in DC and DB Pension legislation primarily in Quebec but also for all other provinces and territories
  • Demonstrated excellence in presentation skills, writing proficiency and reading comprehension in French and English
  • Exercise consistent good judgment and the ability to prioritize work flow
  • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
  • A collaborative approach to providing customer service and a strong "Team" player
  • Mutual Fund licensed
